As a small business owner I put off getting a website. I was busy. I belonged to a couple of networking groups and it seemed to be enough. I always wanted to have a website, but the expense vs. what I thought I would get for that expense (just a more professional business appearance) kept putting me off. Then Pam Sissons joined one of the networking groups I am in and began talking about how important it is to have an online presence, and that doesn’t just mean having a website. It made sense and I decided to give it a try. I have to admit that I still thought that the only thing that was going to happen once I had a website was to have a more professional appearance. Wrong. With Pam Sissons and Jen McDonald at the helm, my website has become the number one source of new business. With their guidance, I learned that its not just about having a website, but about what you do (or have them do for you) with it after it is created. In addition, I think I should mention that I feel that these women are very easy to relate to (this is very important to me), and I think anyone would find them so. Also, every time I’ve had to contact them, their response was practically immediate.
